Established in 1958

In the beginning, the primary focus of the Indiana State Numismatic Association (I.S.N.A.) was to unite the local coin clubs in all 92 Indiana counties under one common organization. We chose to do this in order to better share resources, education, and knowledge amongst the members of those clubs.

The secondary focus was to utilize the member resources to produce a top-notch regional coin show at least once a year showcasing a large variety of numismatic offerings from the top dealers in the Midwest. In the past this has also included a Y.N. (Young Numismatist) Auction. The auction lots have been provided by dealer donations and the auction was open to children and teens under the age of 18.

This year (2018) marks the 60th Annual I.S.N.A. Coin show to be held in Indianapolis. It will once again be at the Marriott East Hotel & Convention Center on the East side of Indianapolis on December 14th & 15th, 2018. Although there have been some major changes in the I.S.N.A. officers and board members in the past two years, the I.S.N.A. is more dedicated than ever to expanding our role in promoting education and fellowship in the hobby of numismatics.

I.S.N.A. Membership

Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great time at the I.S.N.A. Annual Show & Convention but we also work very hard behind the scenes throughout the year in preparation for the show and putting forth efforts to improve the I.S.N.A. organization to move it forward for the next generation. Of course we also have a common interest - to further expand this great hobby and promote the numismatic hobby for young people. Recent issues from the U.S. Mint have instilled a new interest for everyone.

How Can I Join?
To join we need a completed application and membership dues for the first year. Questions? Please visit our contact page.  Wishing to submit your membership application? Please go to our "application" page.

Who Can Join?
We invite anybody interested in the issues and topics in the numismatic hobby to join in our efforts  to further promote this great hobby and to join their local coin clubs and the I.S.N.A. The majority of local clubs have their individual coin club shows and this is an excellent area to broaden your numismatic knowledge and to educate the new or experienced numismatist.
